A General Survey of Turco-British Relations (1553-1919)

This article gives a general survey of the Ottoman-British relations from 1578 to 1918, from the very beginning to the development of complete commercial and political relations (11-16th centuries). The Ottoman-British relations between 1578-1918, which is the main theme of this article are examined in detail with special emphisize on political relations.
